This article is dedicated to "Bhagavat Vidyapith"
When I proved that there is no mention of Radha's name in the four Vedas, Mahabharata, Ramayana and the Bhagwad Gita, and that the love of young Radha with young Krishna is utterly false, some GYAN PAPI people said that there is a word Radha in the Vedas, so Radha is not a fictional subject, as a reference they are Rigveda 1/30/5, 1/22 /7-8, 8/45/24; Samveda- 165, 1600 and Atharvaveda mentions Mantra No. 20/45/2 and says that in all these mantras "Radha", "Radhas" are mentioned, so Radha exists. In this context, my question to all these GYAN PAPI are- Does the mention of the word Radha in the Vedas mean that there is Radha in Krishna's life? And are the words Radha in the mantras of the Vedas meant to any woman by those words? Let's see, what's the real deal?
The fact that there is no Radha in Krishna's life has been proved by me in various writings before. Now let us see whether the words in the mantras of the Vedas actually refer to a woman and whether the existence of Radha-Krishna love is proved by them.
The GYAN PAPI first mention the mantra 1/30/5 of the Rig Veda, which is written in the mantra-
stotraṁ rādhānām pate girvāho vīra yasya te |
vibhūtir astu sūnṛtā || [1.30.5]
This means- O wealthy praiseworthy hero, such a hymn of yours, may your greatness be dear and true.
Here the word 'Radha' is used in the sense of wealth and for that reason 'Radhanang Pate', meaning 'treasurer' is written; So Radha is not a woman here; You will find proof of this in other references to the Vedas mentioned by the Gyan Papi. See next reference 1/22/7-8 of the Rigveda mentioned by the Gyan Papi where it is said-
vibhaktāraṁ havāmahe vasoś citrasya rādhasaḥ |
savitāraṁ nṛcakṣasam || [1.22.7]
sakhāya ā ni ṣīdata savitā stomyo nu naḥ |
dātā rādhāṁsi śumbhati || [1.22.8]
It means- We call on Savita, the dweller of the abode, the divider of the multifarious wealth, and the revealer of human beings. O friends! Sit around, we have to praise Savita soon, the wealthy Sabita is getting beautiful.
Here the word 'Radhasah' is used as a synonym for wealth and the word 'Radhansi' is used as a Wealth Giver. So there is no existence of woman Radha here either.
The third reference of the Gyan Papi is stated in Rigveda Mantra 8/45/24,
iha tvā goparīṇasā mahe mandantu rādhase |
saro gauro yathā piba || [8.45.24]
This means- O Indra! In this Yajna, for the sake of gaining great wealth, let the human beings be intoxicated by drinking cattle-mixed soma, and you also drink, as the Blonde Deer drink from lake.
Here also the word 'Radhase' is used for 'Mahadhanalavarthe=Great wealth gain', so here also the female Radha is absent.
The fourth and fifth references of these Gyan Papi to prove the existence of Radha in the Vedas are Sam 165 and 1600 of the Samveda. 165 says,
Idang hanbojsa sutang radhanang pate. Piba tvatasya girbanah.
This means - O Lord of all-pervading wealth, Praiseworthy Indra, ready with strength, this Somras is for you to drink.
And the mantra of that 1/30/5 reference of Rigveda is mentioned in No. 1600.
stotraṁ rādhānām pate girvāho vīra yasya te |
vibhūtir astu sūnṛtā || [1.30.5]
And the meaning of which has been written thus, O Radhapati (lord of all-pervading wealth), O Girbah (who carries thunderous words or hymns), O hero, may your hymns be like this, may your greatness (Aishwarya) be achieved by beloved true deeds.
The last reference of the Gyan Papi in proving the existence of Radha is the mantra No. 20/45/2 of the Atharva Veda; But this mantra is same to 1/30/5 of Rigveda and Sama No. 1600 of Samveda, so I did not discuss it separately.
In addition to the above, the sinners also say that,
There is also an appendice in the Rik - the mantra "Radhaya madhabo deve madhabenaiba radhika bhivrajante janeshva", which also proves that the name of Radha is in the Vedas.
I have discussed the meaning of the word Radha in the Vedas in detail above, so I do not think there is any need to say more about it, but I am saying that in the Rigveda where the word Radha means wealth, why should the word Radha in the appendice mean anything else? And the main mantras of the Vedas are composed only by Sages and compiled by VedaVyasa. Apart from these, all the commentaries of the Vedas are appendices. Everything, including the preface, is written by the common man for a variety of purposes.
In this article, I have used the word Gyan Papi many times, now I am explaining it - those who know the main point, but for a special purpose, suppress the real truth and express and propagate their own imaginary opinion, are called Gyanpapi. In this article, I have highlighted the mantras of the Vedas which contain such words as Radha, Radhasah Radhanshi. After reading the translations of these mantras, it becomes clear that the word Radha is used in them in the sense of wealth. Those who have tried or trying to discover woman named Radha in these mantras of Vedas, what is their purpose? Their purpose is to distort Dharma by spreading lies, so I call them Gyan Papi; Because, by knowledge they are acquiring sin, not virtue.
Without going into so much theory, this debate can be ended with just one example, that is, just as a person does not have an identity before he is born, so Radha cannot have an identity before she born. If Radha was born at the time of Krishna and that time about 5200 years before the present, but the composition of the Vedas is 8,000 to 12,000 years ago, then how does the name of Radha exists in Vedas? Just as there is no mention of Radha in the Vedas, there is no mention of Krishna in the Vedas as it was written before the birth of Krishna. Although the words of this Veda came to earth through Sages, it was first written in the hands of VedaVyas, few times before the birth of Krishna on earth.
I hope I have been able to clear the matter of Radha in the Vedas to my friends.
